Little Ochie Restaurant
Listen to the sounds of the waves crashing as you enjoy the authentic Jamaican seafood found at Little Ochie. A restaurant located on the south end of Jamaica, this establishment is tucked away in a small fishing community and rests along the beach.
Families, couples, and lone diners can’t get enough of the unforgettable flavors and the idyllic atmosphere at the eatery. It’s a perfect choice for seafood lovers looking to escape to a relaxing environment without tourists frequenting the area.
Founded by Evrol ‘Blackie’ Christian in 1989, many of the dishes at Little Ochie now highlight his addictive mystery ingredients. The cuisine also features an array of flavors including jerk seasonings and an ever-popular steam snapper that isn’t to be missed.
Little Ochie started from humble beginnings, with Christian working unaccompanied to please customers. Today, more than 25 employees are working at the restaurant. With Christian’s experience and the creative passion of his fellow chefs, it’s well worth it to make the trip here.
Little Ochie also hosts the Little Ochie Seafood Carnival, an annual festival in Jamaica that attracts locals and tourists looking to enjoy a beach party featuring world class seafood and Jamaican music.
