Shaw Park Gardens

Above the hills of Ocho Rios is where the botanical Shaw Park Gardens are found. This park was once part of the Estate grounds of owner John Shaw until the Pringle family bought it during the 20th century and turned it into a hotel. The botanical gardens were then brought to life by Flora Mackenzie Pringle Stewart, and her vision has led to the creation of today’s enchanting Shaw Park Gardens.

The botanical gardens now covers 25 acres and it is full of lush greenery and colorful flora. More than 600 types of flowers are here and at 900 feet above sea level, this utopian wonderland is the ideal destination for a peaceful outing and scenic view of the city of Ocho Rios.
An added bonus is the giant and hypnotic waterfall at the park that creates a picturesque scene you’ll treasure long after your visit.
