Rebel Salute - start out the new year with a Jamaican vibe

At the start of every year, a vibe awaits all lovers of Jamaican genres of music.

Ska, Rocksteady, Rockers, Reggae, and Dancehall are only a few of the ones that have impacted the world in their original form or inspired the most famous musical acts of the 20th  and 21st century.

What started out as a concert to celebrate the birthday of reggae icon Tony Rebel, Rebel Salute has evolved to become so much more.

The show has captured the attention and love of Roots and Reggae lovers worldwide, drawing people numbering in the thousands to Jamaica for this one event alone.

Jamaicans too set aside this time to head down to Grizzly’s Plantation in Priory, St. Ann to participate in one of the biggest events on the island’s live music calendar.

The greatest Reggae show on earth

Staged by the Organic HEART Group of Companies, Rebel Salute delivers what is considered one of the greatest roots Reggae shows across the globe.

What sets this event apart is not only the quality of the entertainment offered, but how it is presented.

Uniquely, all performers step on stage under their true names and provide versions of their hits without lyrics that include violence, bigotry, or anything associated with hate messaging in any way, shape, or form.

The concept is of a violence-free and non-alcoholic event.

There is also a strong emphasis on philanthropic works and the rapidly-evolving cannabis industry, with a reintroduction to the Herb Curb spot where people can learn more.

Vegetarian & Ital meals on sale

Rebel Salute serves a strictly vegetarian menu complimented by a diet of cultural roots from Reggae’s finest. Many locals choose to attend and the event is family-friendly.

All of the offerings combined with the warm hospitality of the Jamaican people are what make this event one not to be missed.
