Hot Pot serves authentic, homestyle, Jamaican food at very affordable prices. The restaurant is close to the Altamont Court hotel and is easily reached from the Hilton, Courtleigh and Pegasus. At lunchtime, it s often busy with staff from these hotels seeking out homestyle food.

The dishes are predominantly traditional Jamaican classics such as curried goat, stewed peas and oxtail. An impressive range of seasonal fresh fruit juice is also available, including unusual local flavours such as soursop and June plum.

Most of the tables are set up around a covered courtyard which is decorated with potted plants. The entrance to Hot Pot is within a parking lot and may require a little time for the first time visitor to find. However, if you keep your eyes open for the sign or ask passers-by you should be able to find it!
