Take-out and food delivery

Take-out and food delivery

Many restaurants in Jamaica offer take-out and food delivery, but they will allow you to place orders for pick up more readily than they will offer delivery service.

In response to this need, businesses have popped up that allow clients to order online (from a variety of restaurants) and have their meals delivered for a fee. This service is currently available in the two main cities of Kingston and Montego Bay.

There is now a flurry of enterprising individuals who offer their delivery services for cash on hand.

They will purchase the food and deliver to you for a fee. Many restaurants that don’t offer delivery usually know one of these reliable services.

Closing times for restaurants:

If you arrive on the island on a late flight and the kitchen at the villa you're staying in is already closed, be sure to place your orders at the nearby restaurant before 9 pm.

Typically, the last orders are usually around 9 pm, and most restaurants close by 11 pm.

Restaurants are open six days a week, and the day they are closed varies depending on the restaurant.

You'll discover that fast food joints are open every day, however, the opening and closing times may be slightly different on the weekends.

Check the websites of the restaurants before placing your order.
