As a coffee connoisseur, it’s only right that you get to enjoy this gourmet treat for a little bit longer!

If you brew your coffee each morning fresh and then throw out the good stuff after you’ve had your cup of joe, you’re missing out on all these other things you could be using it to do.

As an odor neutralizer:
Out of baking soda? Pop a cup of the grounds in the fridge to get rid of any smell. It will also leave behind a wonderful, earthy fragrance.

As a cleansing scrub: Ground-up coffee beans make for a good face scrub, but you might want to use fresh beans for that.

Cleaning: The grounds are awesome on those greasy kitchen pots and pans as well. Try using them on your kitchen sponge to scrub them clean.

A concealer for dark wood furniture: Concealer for under eyes should match skin tone somewhat. However, as a concealer for dark wood? Coffee grounds are a perfect match.  Use a cotton swab to smooth it into any scratches or cracks to hide them.

Insect repellant: For your plants, that is. Add them to the soil or make a ring around your plants with the coffee grounds to ward off ants and slugs.

Fortify your plants: Give seedlings a nitrogen boost by stirring grounds into the soil or through a watering can.

Back to the cleansing scrub: Rub a scoop of grounds between palms as an exfoliant to remove dead skin and help eliminate smells from foods like fish and garlic.
