Premier shopping center in Montego Bay, Main Street Rose Hall, transformed into a vibrant hub of entertainment on 12 July, as it welcomed hundreds of Reggae fans to the Easy Sailing Down Main Street concert.

This sensational event served as a tribute to the esteemed Reggae singer, Dr. Rita Marley, and offered an unforgettable night of music, shopping, and delectable treats.



Honoring Reggae legend Dr. Rita Marley

The stage came alive with musical tributes to the legendary mother of Reggae music, Dr. Rita Marley.

Among the renowned artists who graced the stage was Sharon Marley, her eldest daughter, who captivated the audience with a soulful rendition of Rita's 1981 hit, "Easy Sailing."

The concert also featured electrifying performances by Reggae singer Hezron, spirited vocalist Alaine, Dancehall duo Tanto Metro and Devonte, and the finalists of this year's Jamaica Festival Song Competition.



Night-time shopping extravaganza
 


The excitement at Main Street Rose Hall extended beyond the captivating musical performances.

Patrons were treated to a night-time shopping extravaganza, with a plethora of novelty stores lining the elegant corridor leading to the main concert hall.

Shopping enthusiasts indulged in browsing various shops, finding unique treasures, and immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere.



Savoring delectable delights


From mouthwatering Thai delicacies to delectable Jamaican specialties, there was something to please every palate.

While reveling in the festivities, patrons also had the opportunity to tantalize their taste buds at the multi-cultural food village.

Offering an array of culinary delights, the food village showcased a variety of cuisines, including Mystic Thai restaurant, Bad Dawg Sausages, Kamila's Kitchen, Zen Bowls and Super Spicy Doubles.

Also, the Scotchies restaurant, and Devon House I Scream parlor stationed at Main Street Rose Hall kept their doors open to welcome patrons.
