You have goat to be kidding me

You have goat to be kidding me

Sunset at the Palms in Negril, Jamaica, is the site of a truly epic “meet cute” love story.

The fact is, the all-inclusive, adults-only resort is the setting for many a love story, but this one is a romance like no other.

We all know that incredible story and we’ve seen the movies, where two single souls at the perfect beach resort are just looking to have a great vacation but end up meeting the one they are destined to marry and raise their kids with.

A match made on the farm

Betty and Royal Brown were actually working at this resort in paradise when they met on the job in mid-2017 and have been inseparable ever since.

Their union was a match made in heaven, as Betty’s outstanding personality and irresistible charm made her the apple of her man’s eyes from the moment they first met - and even got her promoted to the role of the hotel’s official hostess.

Among her duties is escorting guests on picnics – and helping them eat the contents of the basket.

An unforgettable nuptial

After a whirlwind romance, Mr. and Mrs. Brown made it official when they tied the knot last November in the hotel gardens in the presence of co-workers and resort guests.

The bride wore a stunning traditional full veil while the groom sported a custom-made tuxedo and bow tie.

An exotic honeymoon right at home

The newly wedded couple of course chose to spend their honeymoon at the resort, which doubles as their home.

The couple is known to become fast friends with everyone who visits this exotic boutique hotel, which boasts treehouse-styled rooms in a setting of natural beauty which continues to be the backdrop of their love story.

First comes marriage, then comes kids

A few months after the nuptials, the Browns welcomed beautiful, healthy twins - the only kids ever accepted at the adults-only resort.

The pair has playful and charming personalities and they sometimes join their mother on the picnics so they, too, can interact with resort guests.

The goat family that stays at Sunset at the Palms

Everyone wants to give them a hug and pet the happy family … yes, pet them.

By the way, we may have forgotten to mention that Betty and Royal happen to be goats, which is the reason they’ve got permission to have the only kids you’ll see on the property!

If you think you might have a chance at beating this perfect love story, why not book yourselves into the Sunset at the Palms to start your own, or continue it with an unforgettable destination wedding, romantic honeymoon, or simply a vacation with your significant other?
