#TakeABite out of Jamaica’s Restaurant Week

#TakeABite out of Jamaica’s Restaurant Week

One of the highly-anticipated food festivals among locals in Jamaica is Restaurant Week.

People save a whole year just to be able to participate in every night of this islandwide gastronomy experience.

November 9th to 17th is a week of total bliss for food lovers in Jamaica as Restaurant Week takes over, featuring exquisite culinary treats at over 100 restaurants across the island.

Every November, the second week is dedicated to the best restaurants offering exotic dining experiences that seek to excite the taste buds of foodies on the island.

And every year is different because the list of participating restaurants keeps growing.

An islandwide food festival

Participating restaurants in top locations across Jamaica such as Kingston, Portmore, Old Harbour, Ocho Rios, Runaway Bay, Montego Bay, and Hanover will be serving appetizing dishes of both local and international cuisines, offering diners up to a 30% discount on some meals.

The restaurants offer a choice of pre-selected three-course menus. Foodies can enjoy an appetizer, main course, and dessert in one of the following five categories: “Tasty”, “Savoury”, “Delectable”, “Epicurean”, “Nyam and Scram” and “Morning Bites”.

Set prices for lunch & dinner

The first four categories are set dinner menu options at set prices, no matter what restaurant you go to that offers this category.

The last two are for lunch and breakfast hours only and are discounted rates that varies depending on the establishment.

The general rules of the restaurants apply so call ahead in case, as you may need a reservation due to the popularity of this event!
