The Inter-secondary School Sports Association (ISSA) Boys & Girls Championships is one of the hemisphere's longest-running school sports competitions. Several world-renown athletes have made their debut in sports in Jamaica's National Stadium at the Boys & Girls Championships ("Champs"). The event is open to high schools across Jamaica and covers the track and field events.


Following a meeting today with Government officials, ISSA and GraceKennedy, the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) and ‘Champs’ title sponsors, GraceKennedy, are now advising that this year’s staging of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletic Championships will be cancelled.
