The Jamaica Sound System Festival celebrates sound system culture across the world. Bringing together players of Jamaican music on one big stage in the land of its birth.

Hosted by Bass Odyssey Sound System, one of the biggest brands in sound system culture. The event is also a celebration of the achievement of Bass Odyssey in the entertainment arena and evolved from the sound's annual anniversary celebration. This year Bass Odyssey celebrates 28 years.#bassodyssey28

This year's SoundFEST will feature a traditional 'early warm' segment where 2-3 sounds set up their equipment on the lawn and take turns vibing up before the headline sound systems take over at 11pm. Interested sound systems upload a video clip to social media and the most popular will be invited to show off their talents on the world's biggest sound system stage.

SoundFEST 2017 will also see the return of artistes to the stage. The birth of Jamaican music was when MCs would chant lyrics over infectious beats pounding from sound systems. Gracing this year's stage are some of the biggest names currently in dancehall and reggae.

Highlight of SoundFEST is the food. The best of jamaican dishes for street side prices. 

Drink from well stocked and staffed bars all over the venue with best deals from the best brands all night.
